Otis Bed's "Moonshadow" futon is a true 8 inch mattress. 14 inches of material is compressed to 8 inches to ensure this. This mattress can be used as either a sofa or bed. It is recommended for use on bi-fold frames or platform beds. 7.5 ounce twill fabric is used to provide the strength to hold the tuft.
